///DUST / RNNR

A JOURNEY. A MEMORY. A DOOR.

Find your way.
Leave something worth finding.

You wake in a room you do not recognize. Follow the first small lead, learn the world’s rules, and decide what to leave for whoever comes after you.

Game guide · Updated October 29, 2026 · Spoiler-free

Check your mode before spending. Practice uses test credits with no cash value. Real RNNR features are being introduced through a controlled launch. The Wallet panel shows whether they are available to your account. This guide describes both; it is not an announcement that deposits are open.

01 / One thing at a time.

Start with the bedroom. Stand up, inspect the wall locker, and take the pulse rifle. Follow the current lead to REACTOR 01. You do not need to understand every note or solve the whole mystery yet.

The story is your own journey. Other people’s published rooms make up a shared world beyond it. Your map, discoveries, supplies and story choices belong to your playthrough; a creator’s published room can be visited by other players.

02 / Find your rhythm.

  • W A S D moves; Shift sprints.
  • Right-click toggles mouse capture. With capture on, moving the mouse turns your view. Right-click again releases it.
  • Left-click fires. Hold it to keep firing. F reloads from your ammunition reserve.
  • Q / E turns. Space inspects, collects, or enters when you are close enough.
  • Esc pauses and releases the mouse. Open Controls from the menu whenever you need a reminder.
  • J opens the journal. M opens the map after you discover the map tool.

Change combat difficulty from the pause menu outside an unfinished fight. Easy slows the machines; the harder settings increase the pressure. You can still follow later clues back to an earlier puzzle.

03 / Your map is something you build.

Explore passages, inspect objects, collect tools and keep useful notes. A door’s position matters. Some routes are inside rooms or behind encounters, and later discoveries can explain something you passed earlier.

Use the journal’s current lead when you lose the thread. Mark useful doors, add a corridor note, and record whether supplies were stocked, low or empty when you last checked. Your own note is an observation, not a promise that a room can always refill you.

Tools expand what you can know and do. Teleportation requires its device and a discovered destination; certain story areas require you to find a physical exit. The difficulty of getting somewhere is part of the journey, but a broken route is not a puzzle: report it with the corridor, door and current lead.

Pause before stepping away. A story restart resets your journey, not your published creator rooms. Practice restarts are free. In funded play, unused carried dust and your remaining personal reward allowance return to your available game balance; starting the next run costs 25 RNNR.

04 / Give somebody a reason to open your door.

A song that puts you back in a particular year. A photograph of a place you miss. The first page of a book, a recipe, a game, an idea or an invitation to learn something. Your room is a small piece of yourself that somebody else can discover.

Start with one good thing.

Find an available creator door in the shared world, or follow a creator invitation. Add a title, image, message and link. Choose whether the room appears in the directory and whether people can enter through its direct link.

Make it worth returning.

Update your room in My Rooms. Add an optional extra with text, images and links; make it free or name its RNNR price. You can require visitors to find the room in the world before unlocking it.

A cup and an offer.

Visitors can leave a voluntary tip in your cup, pay to unlock your extra, or follow a link to your work. A coupon can have a limited supply and claim limit. Claiming a code records that it was shown; it does not verify redemption at a business.

Share your doorway.

Copy the room link, or invite somebody to build at a door with a personal message. A creator invitation can assign the inviter the commission on that creator’s eligible payments. It does not mint free tokens.

Creators keep 90% of eligible tips and paid extras. The remaining 10% goes to their recorded referrer, or to the platform when there is no referrer. The commission is part of the visitor’s payment, not an additional charge. Collect your cup into your available game balance before withdrawing it.

Publishing a new room costs 0.01 RNNR in the selected mode; editing your own room is free. Test-credit activity never turns into withdrawable RNNR. Traffic, tips and sales depend on whether people find and value what you leave; none is guaranteed.

Public YouTube links can offer a “Watch here” player. It loads only when a visitor chooses to open it. Some videos allow only viewing on YouTube. Creator images and links use other services too; the Privacy Policy explains what is shared. Directory and discovery settings are not private access controls.

05 / One token. Separate kinds of balance.

RNNR is the Solana token used by the funded game. Dust is the game’s name for carried, fractional RNNR; it is not a second asset. Practice has its own test balances, rewards and saves. They cannot be deposited, sold or withdrawn.

A new funded run allocates 25 RNNR: 5 becomes carried dust, 15 becomes your personal reward allowance, and 5 is the game fee. Encounter rewards and story caches in funded play return value from that allowance; the game does not create new withdrawable tokens because an enemy was defeated.

Current funded supply prices are 8 RNNR for 24 rounds, 5 RNNR for a repair, and 25 RNNR for a permitted teleport. A carried-dust top-up moves the chosen amount from your available balance into your pack, up to its capacity. The live interface and saved receipt show the charge for an action.

In the current funded implementation, browser-reported movement and hits do not themselves debit real RNNR. Practice dust-drain behavior is not a promise of the funded charging rules. On death, carried funds can remain in your own recoverable bag; unused reward allowance returns to your available balance. Funded bags are currently personal, not multiplayer prizes.

Tips and paid extras transfer existing game balance between accounts. They are not investment returns. RNNR’s market price can rise, fall or become illiquid; there is no guaranteed dollar value, appreciation, airdrop, automatic buyback or burn.

06 / Buy, deposit, use, withdraw.

  1. Use your normal wallet browser. Open Dust in a browser with a compatible Solana wallet. Sign in to the game so the wallet link, journey and transfer records stay with your account.
  2. Link your wallet. The ownership message identifies Dust and your wallet. Signing that message links the address; it does not move tokens.
  3. Buy RNNR separately if you need it. The Wallet panel links to the token’s pump.fun page. Keep SOL for network fees and possible token-account creation. Buying into your wallet does not deposit into the game.
  4. Review a deposit. Use Wallet → Review deposit, check the amount and fees, then approve the exact transaction in your wallet. Wait for a finalized transfer and credited game balance.
  5. Use your game balance. Funded entries, supplies, creator tips and paid extras settle inside Dust. Available funds, carried funds, creator cups and pending withdrawals are different buckets.
  6. Withdraw available RNNR. Use Wallet → Review withdrawal. The service reserves that amount while you approve the exact transfer, and sends it to the verified wallet linked for that request. Your wallet pays the quoted SOL network costs.

The game uses a custodial vault and an internal ledger. Deposited tokens are controlled by the service while in that vault; they are not still in your personal wallet or protected by a non-custodial escrow contract. Service failures, compromised systems and network interruptions can delay access or cause loss.

Use the deposit flow so a transfer can be matched and credited. Sending tokens directly to a displayed vault address is not a supported deposit method and does not automatically credit your account. Check the full token mint:

Solana mainnet · RNNR uses six decimal places. Never provide a recovery phrase or private key to Dust or support.

07 / Keep the receipt. Recover the same request.

If a wallet request stalls or the browser loses a response, reopen Wallet and choose Check / recover on the saved transfer. Do not create a replacement payment. A pending withdrawal stays reserved until the original outcome is established.

An expired request can be cancelled only when the service can establish that it was not signed. An uncertain signed transfer may need operator reconciliation; time passing alone does not prove it failed. Keep browser storage intact while a transfer is unresolved: it can contain the signed request needed for recovery.

Disconnecting or unlinking a wallet does not delete your game balance or transfer history. A saved transfer still requires its original wallet if you need to resume approval. Collect creator earnings and settle or recover active-run funds before expecting them in the available withdrawal balance.

For help, email hi@rnnr.fun with the transfer ID, public transaction link if available, approximate time, and the message shown. Do not send passwords, private keys or recovery phrases.

08 / A world worth coming back to.

The wider experiment is an internet you can explore: a network of rooms where people leave work, memories and useful things for each other. The story gives you a reason to arrive. What people contribute can give you a reason to stay.

Live performances, larger creator adventures, richer social spaces and shared multiplayer encounters remain possible directions, not promises in this release. A room can already link to work or a service elsewhere; the seller’s own terms govern purchases made there.

This Dust Book is hosted with the game. It is not a GitBook-hosted publication. The broader RNNR Book describes other games and ecosystem ideas; their entry prices and rules do not replace Dust’s.
